Corporate stores and franchisees have different policies as it relates to military discounts and veteran discounts. Call the local store and see if they are participating in a military discount program. You must have a valid military ID to be eligible for regular discounts. On veterans day, a DD-214, state issued ID card or membership into a veteran service organization will be accepted as proof of service.
AT&T will provide a 15% government discount with a valid military ID or VA ID card. Veterans show a copy of your DD214. If you have issues with the service representative, kindly ask them to fax it in to their headquarters and call several times.
T-Mobile offers 15% Military Discount for active duty and veterans. For veterans, you will need to take copy of your DD-214 in store, complete a corporate discount form and show your ID. If you are in a state where veterans designation is on the drivers license and you have one, you are eligible. Existing customers are also eligible for the discount as well. If you are obtaining new service, the activation fee is waived as well.
